Roxan, breastfeeding at the age of 2.5 years is quite normal and provides the infant with optimal nutrition. Even the WHO encourages breastfeeding over the age of 2.
http://www.who.int/features/factfile.../en/index.html My question for you is this though - why did BM only feed ss at this age and not sd (aren't they twins)? This seems a little odd, unless sd had self-weaned?

i have no idea i think it was because ss asked for it an sd didnt. Apparently it has to do with bms pnd at that stage not long after that she took of with the he/she and pnd made her do that aswell.

I just think of when my son was 2.5! He was sooo massive that would have felt so strange BF at that age! TBH it felt gross at 9 months which is why I stopped.
