School Holidays!!!

Ah - so good to hear that I'm not the only one who has been/is driven crazy by three weeks straight with the skids. We are nearly at the end of ours - less than 5 days to go now - yay!!! I am back at work today after 16 days straight with them (SD10 and SD7) - hence being able to use the computer in private... They make our 2 bedroom apartment, which is usually quite adequate for our needs, even on EOW, feel soooooo small when it's full of thir stuff nd their mess and their noise. I would say I have cried because of them for about 12 out of the past 18 days. It's not helped by the fact that my DH hates even the idea of planning things ahead, and is quite happy to take each days as it comes and not even think about leaving the house. I've coped by disengaging from the issues that drive me most crazy (how much TV they watch, the state of the bathroom after they have used it....what they eat (thought they do still have to eat at the table or outside and not on the couch!), and making my own plans to catch up with friends or go shopping without them evry second day or so.
